Donald Glover is clearing the air about his stance on Kid Cudi.

Earlier this week, the actor who raps under the alias "Childish Gambino" briefly explained his stance on Cudi during his livestream on GILGA Radio. Toward the end of the stream, Glover called out the Cleveland rapper by name and said he didn't want any smoke with him.

"Kid Cudi, if you got a problem, like, I'm not here for the beef," he said. "Just like, talk to me... 'Cause it's like we don't have to agree on everything but we also don't have to be like, 'When I see you, we have to wanna kill each other'."

Childish Gambino and Kid Cudi used to be cool, but it wasn't until earlier this year when fans found out about their rift. Cudi let the cat out of the bag when he responded to a fan on X/Twitter who suggested he and 'Bino work together on something.

"Im cool," he sneered.

Cudi didn't provide any other context behind his post or the situation at hand. The two haven't released a formal collaboration, but they did work on music together at one point. Old Twitter posts reveal Cudi and Gambino were working on a song over a decade ago. However, fans have yet to hear it. Back in 2020, a song called "Warlords" featuring both artists leaked on the Internet but it was never officially released.
