RuPaul Is Developing A Daytime Talk Show

RuPaul is set to take his expertise, glamour, and knack for pop culture to a daytime talk show, as per a new report from Variety.

According to the outlet, RuPaul is going to film a talk show pilot for Teleporters, with a fall 2019 premiere date tentatively in the books. The show is set to be filmed in front of a live studio audience and see the media mogul "bring his unique, positive and aspirational point of view to the format, interviewing celebrities, giving beauty and glam tips, playing games, and dishing on pop culture." Frequent collaborator and fellow Drag Race judge Michelle Visage is also expected to play a major role in the forthcoming daytime talk show.

It's just one of the many ventures on Mama Ru's plate, including an upcoming comedy series for Netflix called AJ and the Queen, which he is expected to star, write and executive produce alongside Michael Patrick King. Hulu is also reportedly developing a series based on Ru's life with J.J. Abrams serving as executive producer.
