Lady Gaga Reveals Stunning 'Chromatica' Album Artwork

The Fashion Awards 2016 - Red Carpet Arrivals

Fans were devastated when Lady Gaga announced she'd be postponing the release of her upcoming album Chromatica as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pop star explained her decision in a lengthy Twitter note at the end of March. "This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic," she wrote. "I know you are disappointed. Probably angry and sad. But I also know that as a fan base ... we are the kindness punks. So I ask you to practice that kindness in these trying times."

Though her sixth studio album will be released later than anticipated, Gaga is still keeping her fans in the loop and sharing as much as she can with them about Chromatica. On Sunday (April 5), Gaga took to Twitter again to reveal the highly anticipated album's artwork. “#Chromatica...2020,” she captioned the post, however, she didn't reveal a new release date just yet.

Based on the replies to her tweet, it looks like her fans whole-heartedly approve of the artwork. "Tell everyone else with an album cover to go home. She won," one fan wrote. Even fellow stars popped in to praise the Chromatica artwork. Zedd replied with a simple fire emoji, while Bazzi hailed Gaga as the "[greatest of all time]" because her "creative is so thorough and consistent and just overall such a vibe. keep pushing that bar!! love!"

Even though fans won't get to listen to Chromatica as soon as they'd like, Lady Gaga is hard at work on a secret project that will provide aid during the ongoing pandemic. She hasn't revealed what she's working on yet, however, she's expected to announce her plans on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (April 6).
