A married California couple were arrested and are facing hate crime and vandalism charges after yelling “white power” and “only white lives matter” at a Black man and his girlfriend, according to authorities.
The incident caught on camera happened July 22 night at a stop light in Torrance when suspects Gregory Howell and his wife Rachel Howell were in their truck in front of the victims vehicle, after reportedly following them before for several minutes.
Gregory Howell got out of his vehicle, went to the victims' car, and yelled "white power" as he made a Nazi salute. His wife then got out and began cursing before yelling "only white lives matter," police said.
