Celebrities Share Beauty Secrets On Beautycon LA's Pink Carpet

We're still riding high from our visit to Beautycon LA last weekend.

Not only were there ample of beauty professionals there to keep us up-to-date with the latest happenings in the industry, but The Pink Carpet allowed us the opportunity to sneak some secrets from Hollywood's elite! The gem-dropping moments were endless.

Even though it was her first time there, entertainment icon, Kandi "Always Keep a Job" Burruss wasn't shy about sharing her plans of Kandi Koated Cosmetics getting its own table at the convention soon. While Beautycon and scoping out industry peers gave her business inspiration, the Real Housewives of Atlanta favorite touched on her preferred hair routine for wig installments. Unlike her notoriously laid castmates, Mrs. Burruss admitted she chooses to stay away from the lace closure wave.

On lace closures:

"I don't do closures, I haven't gotten on that train yet."

Mrs. Tina Knowles-Lawson exemplifies that there's no age limit on being fabulous. The matriarch of one of THE most legendary Hollywood families spoke on not allowing her proud "grandma" title to determine the way she carries herself. For the 65-year-old mother of two phenoms, it's how she treats herself on the inside with water and working out that creates the beauty she feels on the outside.

Melyssa Ford had a lot to share about how she keeps her face fresh and vibrant. Earning their syndicated spot on iHeartMedia didn't happen over night for the Hollywood Unlocked co-host. Busy days and nights with teammates, Jason Lee and DJ Damage, were worth the success but that doesn't mean Melyssa was going to let her beauty regime slip. The entertainment aficionado broke down the vitality of collagen and her personal love for skin serums.

We didn't forget to get some male representation! All melanin must be nurtured and cherished regardless of gender. Someone who knows that very well is Broderick Hunter. The model and actor is far too familiar with maintaining a healthy physique as he's grown tremendously in his career. Going from his first acting opportunity in GQ to getting guest spots on Insecure and A Black Lady Sketch, Broderick is a proud member of the "Keep My Melanin Poppin" club. So much so, he even has a YouTube channel dedicated to skincare, The Bod Vlog. It's the perfect place to get your fix of a variety of male perspective tips between lip scrub product reviews to skin mask tips.
