Music legend Smokey Robinson is facing serious accusations from four women who say they experienced abuse while working for him and his wife, Frances Robinson. The women, identified as Jane Does, filed a lawsuit claiming they were victims of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, gender violence, and a hostile work environment.
The women say they worked for Smokey and Frances for nearly 20 years. Now, they are seeking $50 million in damages. The lawsuit describes shocking claims of abuse, with the women alleging that Frances Robinson knew about the mistreatment but did not stop it.
When contacted by the Daily Mail about the allegations, 85-year-old Smokey Robinson responded, “I am appalled. I can’t speak about this right now.” He did not offer any further comment on the case.
