Jeff Bezos may be ready to part ways with one of the world’s most luxurious yachts.
According to reports, Bezos is quietly shopping his massive yacht, Koru, just three years after it was built.
The floating palace reportedly cost around $500 million and measures an astonishing 417 feet long and 250 feet tall. The yacht is so large that it cannot fit inside most NFL stadiums and struggles to enter many ports and harbors around the world.
Koru includes luxury features like a glass-bottom pool, three Jacuzzis, a helicopter pad, and suites that can sleep up to 18 guests.
Despite all the luxury, maintaining the yacht reportedly comes with major challenges. Annual operating costs are said to be around $30 million before fuel expenses are even added.
The yacht also gained attention after Bezos appeared connected to several high-profile events, including sponsorship involvement surrounding the Met Gala.
Now, many people are wondering whether the billionaire simply wants something new or if maintaining such a massive vessel has become more trouble than it is worth.
Either way, Koru remains one of the most talked-about yachts in the world.
