Hunter Biden Shares Update on Former President Joe Biden’s Cancer Battle

Hunter Biden is sharing a difficult update about his father, former President Joe Biden, as he continues battling prostate cancer.

During a recent interview with the BBC, Hunter revealed that his father’s cancer has “metastasized into his bones and further,” describing the illness as painful and debilitating. The former president publicly announced his aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis in May 2025, when his office said the cancer had already spread to his bones.

Hunter became emotional while discussing his father’s condition and said he sometimes wishes the former president would be more open about how much pain he is experiencing. Despite his health challenges, Hunter said his father remains determined to stay involved in public life and continue speaking about issues that matter to him.

That determination was on display in June when Biden attended the grand opening ceremony for the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago alongside former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

The 83-year-old former president continues to receive treatment while remaining active when his health allows.

We are sending our best wishes to President Biden and the entire Biden family as they navigate this difficult health battle.
