It looks like friendship has officially turned into romance for Luenell and Al B. Sure!
During a recent appearance on Angela Yee’s Lip Service, Luenell confirmed that she and the R&B singer are dating exclusively after being friends for about 15 years.
“I think it’s pretty obvious that if I’m dating Al B. Sure, I’m exclusive,” Luenell said.
The comedian explained that she loves the fact that their longtime friendship was able to grow into something romantic.
“I just think that it’s a great thing when a friendship can blossom into a relationship,” she shared.
Luenell and Al B. Sure! have sparked relationship rumors for months through social media posts and public appearances together, but Luenell is now making it clear that she is taken.
Starting a romance after years of friendship can have some advantages. You already know the person’s personality, habits and history before adding romance to the equation. On the other hand, dating a longtime friend can also be risky because if things do not work out, the friendship could change forever.
For Luenell, however, it sounds like she is happily taking that chance.
