Congratulations are in order for Nia Long!
The beloved actress officially received the 2,857th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, honoring a career that has stretched across more than three decades.
Long received her star in the Motion Pictures category during a ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard.
Snoop Dogg was among those celebrating Nia during the special moment, along with friends, family and members of the entertainment community.
Long has become one of the most recognizable and beloved actresses in Black Hollywood through unforgettable roles in movies including Boyz n the Hood, Friday, Love Jones, Soul Food and The Best Man franchise.
Television audiences also know her from projects including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Third Watch, Empire and many more.
Most recently, Nia portrayed Katherine Jackson in the Michael Jackson biopic Michael. She is also reuniting with her Love Jones co-star Larenz Tate for the upcoming Netflix romantic drama Don’t Ever Wonder.
For generations of fans, Nia Long has represented beauty, talent and some of the most memorable characters in Black film and television.
Now her name is permanently part of Hollywood history.
