Jay-Z Reportedly Set to Headline 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Jay-Z may finally be taking the Super Bowl halftime stage himself.

According to multiple reports, the hip-hop mogul is expected to headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

But before the BeyHive starts planning its Super Bowl party, the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation have not officially announced Jay-Z as the performer.

Still, there is a reason the reports are getting so much attention.

Jay-Z and Roc Nation have worked with the NFL on its live entertainment strategy since 2019. Super Bowl halftime producer Jesse Collins previously revealed that Jay has had the final say on selecting the show’s headliner.

So, according to the latest reports, Jay may have finally chosen himself.

Jay-Z has never headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, although Beyoncé famously headlined in 2013 and returned as a guest during Coldplay’s 2016 performance.

Of course, that has already led to speculation about who Jay could bring with him.

Beyoncé is an obvious possibility, while names including Nas and Pharrell have also been mentioned online. However, no special guests have been officially announced.

Jay-Z is also scheduled to perform at SoFi Stadium this week, which has fueled speculation that an official Super Bowl announcement could be coming soon.

If Hov really is taking the halftime stage, who absolutely has to come out with him?
