The Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, is set to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame in the recording category on Thursday, Jan. 11th.
The nine-time Grammy Award winner will be joined by Sean “Diddy” Combs, Hollywood Chamber president and CEO Leron Gubler to unveil the star.
After 20 years in the game and 13 albums her belt, many wonder if this is long over due? One thing for sure is that her talents are not being overlooked. The producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, Ana Martinez gave the 46-year-old singer praises for being "one of the most popular singers of our generation. Fans will be thrilled to see her star on the Boulevard as her career milestones are celebrated on this very famous sidewalk."
Now that Mary has gotten rid of all of that unnecessary "drama" aka Kendu, she can now get back to shining like the star she is!
