Dear Steve and Shirley,
I have a problem. I met a guy and I consider him a good friend and I want to get to know him better. He has taken me on a few dates and all went well at first. The problem arose after one of our recent dates. After a really good date, we decided we'd pick up some food and go back to his house to chill and eat our food. Well, when we got to his house with our food and he turned the lights on. Boom bam boom roaches went flying from east to west. They were so bad they were even crawling on his dog. But told him politely that I was not eating my food. There he sat there eating his food and looking at me like I was crazy. He didn't see that there was a problem when he dropped me off at home. I immediately took my clothes off and as soon as I walked in. I'm not saying that I'm better than anyone else, I have dealt with bugs in my home too but clearly this was an infestation. This was not normal. This was the last time I spent time at his house. Now he asked me why I won't come over. I don't even want him over at my place because he may bring bugs with him and spread them to my house. When we go out together in public, it makes me think he's not clean and his car is not clean because of how he keeps his house. I don't want to lose a good man but I just can't deal with the bugs. What should I do? Please help me.
