🕊 #Repost @juniorshms with @get_repost ・・・ Today was the hardest day I have ever gone through! God is still in control. I lost my best friend today. He was actually my brother. We were friends since I was 16. I have no words. I am going to pull through for you Bryan Cooke. I won’t let you down. I love you and miss you. God must have needed a Titan in heaven today. Please keep his family in prayer and lifted up. I want to say thank you for keeping me in check through all my successes. You was the first to say man you got it. Thank you brother for keeping me focused. The world is hurt today. Your impact was truly felt. You made me a Man today. You said you was gone do it, I just didn’t know it was going to be like this. Thank you for all you taught me. Took me all day to type this. Just greet me when I walk through those gates!!! Show me around. See you Cooke. Truth be told, you was always better than me and I knew it. You did too. Thank you Lord for sending me the person I needed! The fight over Cooke! You won! #onemanarmy #RIH
Despite the rumors that have circulated there was no foul play or drugs involved.
Bryan was not an employee of Steve Harvey, but was definitely family to the Steve Harvey family.
From the desk of #SteveHarvey #Repost @iamsteveharveytv with @get_repost ・・・ Bryan Cooke was an outstanding brother, an incredible human being who touched so many people’s lives. Bryan was the assistant to Kier Spates, better known as “Junior” on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. He was not only his assistant, he was his best friend. Bryan has a mother and father who have lost their beloved son, he has brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He moved in a special way. I just happen to be one of the lucky ones whose path he touched, whose live he changed, who he had an effect on. A young brother who at 39 is gone far too soon but that’s our God, He had special plans for him. We should be respectful of his parents, all of his family members and to Junior, who was his best friend – they are the ones who are grieving the most about the loss of a very, very special man. We were lucky to have known this brother for the time we did. This brother was loved by his family and friends. This is a major loss for a lot of people including myself.
Bryan was loved by many and we miss him dearly.
We ask for privacy for Bryan’s family and Junior at this time.
We miss you BC! #RIH
