The cat is out of the bag, Cardi B and Offset secretly got married last year!
A marriage certificate belonging to the lovebirds surfaced the internet streets with the date of September 20th, 2017.
Yes, you read that correctly!
According to an insider, Offset woke up one day, looked at Cardi, and said, “Marry me.” Instead of telling family and friends, they decided to keep it on the low and tie the knot at the crib.
So yes, they were already married when Offset staged the public engagement in October and no, Cardi was NOT pregnant.
While everybody has their eyebrows raised, these two don't owe anyone an explanation. They did it their way.
Now if you are one of those who just has to know why everything was kept a secret, here's what the BX diva had to say:
Our relationship was so new…and we had a lot of growing up to do, but we [were] so in love we didn’t want to lose each other."
And from the looks, Cardi B couldn't be happier.
