When it comes to barriers, Zendaya is breaking every single one!
In a recent interview with Elle, the 21-year-old actress revealed that she auditions for roles regardless of what race they were written for.
"Anytime it says they're looking for White girls, send me out."
A confidence that is to be admired, the Hollywood starlet feels that if she shows up then she can change their minds. Just as the case with her role as "Michelle" in the film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Michelle wasn't written for a woman of color, but because Zendaya decided to show up, folks were open to the idea.
What does that mean for you?
Show up for your dreams! Be bold. Be daring. Be courageous. You too will get to a point where "you get so used to having to break the rules for people."
It's your time to be amazing! Go out there and live your best life!
