Steve Harvey Gives Marriage Advice

Will Smith is baring it all in the season premiere of Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk show on Facebook.  A clip of Will surfaced the net of him admitting how he was "failing miserably" in his marriage with Jada and how she cried for 45 days straight.

"There was a period where Mommy woke up and cried 45 days straight. I started keeping a diary," Will says to his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law. "It was every morning. I think that's the worst I've ever felt in our marriage. I was failing miserably."

We've heard the split rumors multiple times over the years and after being married for 21 years, love has prevailed and the two have no plans to ever divorce.

With that being said, the crew decided to have an honest talk about marriage and what it takes to have a successful marriage. Steve strongly feels that having "individuality" - a separate identity from your significant other is key. For example, being ok with having other hobbies, whether your spouse likes them or not. Another key that Unc spoke on is understanding that it is "not your job to make another person happy, nor should you make it yours."

Relishing in the gems, Shirley chimed in that it would be simply unfair for her husband to come out of nowhere and expect her to cook. She's never cooked and is complete happy about not cooking. Meanwhile, Carla is convinced that it is all about compromising aka "happy wife, happy life!" Lol
