The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation is notorious for helping young girls and boys pick up the pieces of their lives and build a solid mental and physical foundation.
The Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp for Young Boys specifically caters to young men by teaching them the principles of manhood by introducing them to strong role models. They pride themselves on educational development, one-on-one mentoring, and encouraging community awareness.
This year's program kicked off at an exciting point as men and boys banded together for a fun-filled weekend.
However, no one was more excited to get things rolling than Uncle Steve. He spoke on the first day beginning Thursday (June 13th) and even mentioned a new friend he met along the way. A young boy, who was on set of Family Feud caught the host's attention when asking for an autograph. After getting to know the 16-year-old a little more, Unc was more than happy to invite him to the camp.
Being introduced to each other was one thing, but Uncle Steve declared him his "favorite" after young "D" made a lasting impression on everyone from Day 1.
Hear Mr. Harvey's heartfelt take on meeting his new mentee and the hilarious way "D" put his stamp on his stay at the Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp.
