Tennessee Barber Encourages Sharp Looks & Education With Special Discount

This barber is helping parents save money and getting kids ready to go back to school. Talk about knocking two birds with one stone!

Jermaine Scott's Ligons Barbershop has become a haven for getting your line-up and mind right. The Tennessee barber took it upon himself to expand the knowledge of his younger clients by offering them a solution in the form of academic excellence. Troubled by how much he's seen children mesmerized by gadgets, he has decided to offer a special discount to kids who read while getting their haircut.

His usual charge of $15 dropped by $5 in order to encourage better educational habits. Jermaine explained he gets books from a library and runs the offer every Thursday.
