Now usually, you never talk about a lady's age. However, Elizabeth Francis is a phenomenal exception.
Saturday (July 27th) was a momentous occasion for a Houston woman who turned 110-years-old and ABC 13 captured it all. A house full of family members and friends were excited to celebrate the life of their longest living matriarch. Starting from her birth in 1909 in Louisiana, Elizabeth has spent exactly a century and a decade on earth and gives all thanks to God.
"Blessing of the Lord. He's the one keeping me. That's why I'm living."
While her family is just as thankful to be able to bask in her wisdom and great sense of humor, another person who HAD to pay the great grandmother a visit was Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner.
