Within the lineup for Coming To America 2, it's clear there are a lot of laughs to be expected. Tracy Morgan joining the roster only adds on to that.
The Last O.G. actor is the latest name to be a part of the highly-anticipated comedic sequel. Deadline recently confirmed Tracy will play the role of a Queens hood native and brother to a woman Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) had a one-night stand with.
Deadline detailed the plot of the Paramount film.
"In the sequel, Akeem (Murphy) is set to become King of Zamunda but discovers he has a son he never knew about in America – a street-savvy Queens native named Lavelle. Honoring his father’s dying wish to groom this son as the crown prince, Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) set off to America to meet the unlikely heir."
Craig Brewer will be taking over the director's chair, as Wesley Snipes, Lesley Jones and even Rick Ross will make their way to the big screen. Be ready ready to bust a gut December 18, 2020!
