Stacey Dash remains in a Florida jail after being arrested for domestic battery over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the Clueless star was taken into police custody on Sunday (September 29) in New Port Richey, Florida —where she owns a home — after getting into a "squabble" with her husband of five-months Jeffrey Marty. Stacey is accused of putting her hands on him during the argument, which is what apparently led to the police being called.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet they were called to Stacey's home around 7:45 PM to respond to a domestic dispute between Stacey and Jeff. Stacey allegedly "pushed and slapped" Jeffrey before officers arrived. Cops reportedly saw "red scratch marks" on his left arm when they arrived. Stacey was subsequently taken into custody.
The 52-year-old actress turned conservative commentator is currently being held on $500 bail. According to TMZ sources, "local authorities often hold people for a 24-hour cooling-off period" in these types of incidents.
Stacey and Jeffrey tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony down in the Sunshine State back in April. Other than the fact that he is a lawyer, not much is known about Jeffrey.
The couple's Springtime nuptials marked Stacey's fourth marriage.
