Kellan Lutz is going to be a dad!
On Thanksgiving Day (November 28), the Twilight star and his wife Brittany Gonzales announced they were expecting their first child. The couple made the surprise reveal on social media with a selfie of the pair wearing matching denim jackets while holding up an adorable mini jacket that matched their own.
“HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2019. So much to be grateful for this year… and even more so in 2020!” the 34-year-old actor shared in the caption. “So proud of my wife @brittanylynnlutz and so pumped for our lil family to grow into 3 + Koda 🙂🙏. Get here already 😇!!!! Can’t wait to meet you Little Lutz!”
“2 years ago on this day we had a surprise we shared,” Gonzales teased earlier in the day with a picture from their 2017 engagement announcement in an Instagram Story. “This Thanksgiving we have another surprise…. Hint: it’s probably what you’re thinking,” she added, this time with the announcement covered with an animation to conceal the baby news.
If you didn’t know, Thanksgiving holds a very meaning for the couple. The duo’s exciting family announcement comes just two years after the FBI: Most Wanted actor and the TV host and model revealed they’d secretly tied the knot around Thanksgiving in 2017.
“If you know me at all you know Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday of them all!!” Gonzales wrote at the time. “While I try to live everyday grateful for everything and everyone in my life, this Thanksgiving one of the things I’m most grateful for is that I get to do life’s adventures with this guy aka my HUSBAND for the rest of our lives!!!!! I love you so much @kellanlutz ❤️Happiest Thanksgiving to you all!! 🦃🍂🌾 What are you thankful for?!”
