Singer Kelly Price Is Missing

Some scary news here — TMZ is reporting that gospel singer Kelly Price has gone missing in Georgia — and it happened shortly after she had been released from the hospital after battling COVID-19.

Officials in Cobb County, Georgia say that Kelly is officially listed as a “missing person following a welfare check conducted at her home last Saturday.”

They report that authorities say there is no evidence right now of foul play and spoke with Kelly’s boyfriend at the residence, but it appears he doesn’t know where she is either. She’s also officially listed as missing with the National Crime Information Center.

The backstory — Kelly posted a video on July 29th saying that she had COVID-19 and was struggling with symptoms. She was then admitted to the hospital a week later and was in the ICU because her condition had worsened. Family says they had talked with Price while she was in the hospital in early August, but 3 weeks after she was admitted, her kids say they got a call saying she’d been discharged. TMZ reports that the family thought it was a bit surprising, since they say she was not fully healthy.

The family says Kelly has not been heard since, and that her boyfriend was “keeping friends and family members from visiting her home.”

There is an active investigation to find her.
