The cat is out of the bag! Cardi B is pregnant once again.
On Wednesday, September 17, the 32-year-old rap star confirmed she's expecting her fourth child — her first with new boyfriend Stefon Diggs. Bardi announced her pregnancy during her interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.
"Well yes, I am," Cardi said after Gayle asked about the pregnancy rumors. "I'm having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs."
"I'm actually very.. I'm excited," she explained. "I'm happy. I feel like I'm in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I'm doing all this work, but I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby.
Rumors about Cardi B's pregnancy began earlier this year after the mother of three confirmed she and Diggs were a couple. Following their hard launch, the "Outside" rapper began to escalate the rollout for her sophomore album, Am I The Drama? The pregnancy rumors went into high gear after she released her single "Imaginary Playerz." Fans noticed that she started showing after she performed the track in an impromptu video she posted to her Instagram timeline.
The rumors got louder while Cardi B was in court for the trial over her civil lawsuit from security guard Emani Ellis. On day three of the trial, Cardi wore an all-white, long-sleeved suit as she stepped outside of the courthouse with her hand on her tummy. She gently walked to her car and treaded carefully as she signed autographs for fans. Although she initially shot down the rumors, Cardi recently said she's more than ready to have more kids.
"The more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to, like, a home," she recently told Jennifer Hudson. "One of them is gonna wipe my butt!"
Cardi B's latest child will join her other three children — Kulture (7), Wave (4), and Blossom (1) — who she shares with her estranged husband, Offset. The former couple is still going through the motions of their divorce.
