Did 50 Cent break his silence after he was dissed in a recent freestyle by Fabolous, Jim Jones, Maino and Dave East?

In case you need a refresh, Fabolous, Jim Jones, Maino, and Dave East, took aim at 50 Cent during a freestyle session on a recent episode of their "Let's Rap About It" podcast. The group responded to 50 Cent's previous remarks by rapping over his instrumentals in a track called "Squatter's Rights," and features all four artists trading verses over beats originally by 50 Cent.

In the freestyle, Fabolous delivered the most talked-about verse, directly addressing 50 Cent's comments. He joked about renaming their podcast to "Let's Squat About It" after 50 Cent referred to them as "broke squatters." One of Fab's standout lines was, "You know I got 'Power,' your shorty got hot showered," referencing both 50's show "Power" and alleged rumors involving his former partner, Daphne Joy.

Well, it appears that 50 Cent may have responded in a new message posted to social media, writing, "Let’s toast to success, health, and prosperity. I’m planning my new year. When I’m done, I’ll come out to play. You know everyone who plays with me wishes they didn’t in the end." The post was accompanied by an image of 50 posing as Leonardo DiCaprio's character in The Great Gatsby where his character is holding up a glass of champagne, which added to the sense of quiet menace.

While 50 Cent has not responded directly to the freestyle, his message suggests that he may be planning a more calculated response. AllHipHop reports that 50's approach may be influenced by his current position as a major entertainment figure, making him cautious about engaging in lyrical battles. For now, fans are left wondering whether this is the calm before a storm or a strategic delay.
