During a surprise appearance at Deon Cole's comedy show at the Hollywood Improv on Saturday, December 27th, Kanye West confirmed that a new album is in the works.

The announcement came after Cole invited West on stage, introducing him as a "good friend" and expressed gratitude for his attendance. In a lighthearted exchange, Cole asked West if there was anything new fans could look forward to, to which West simply replied, "New album," eliciting cheers from the audience.

Cole posted video footage of the surprise appearance of Ye on stage, and captioned the post, "About last night. What a great time. Laughter & love wins again. Hollywood improv."

The news has sparked speculation among fans, particularly regarding West's previously teased project, BULLY. According to HotNewHipHop, the album was scheduled for release on January 30th, but its repeated delays have left fans uncertain about its status. The new album announce also follows his Vultures release with Ty Dolla $ign, released in 2024.

This isn't West's first surprise appearance in recent months. In November, he joined Travis Scott on stage in Japan, performing several hits. West is also set to headline the Hellwatt Festival in Italy next summer.

With West's history of unexpected album releases and changes, fans eagerly await more details about his upcoming music.
