The official Rolling Loud movie is set to debut in theaters this fall.
On Thursday, February 5, Rolling Loud confirmed that the comedy film, starring Owen Wilson and Matt Rife, will premiere in theaters worldwide on September 18, 2026. According to a press release, Ketchup Entertainment acquired the domestic distribution rights for the movie produced by Live Nation Studios and American High in collaboration with Rolling Loud. The plot surrounds Wilson's character as he ventures into the Hip-Hop festival's fun ecosystem with fans and bumps into artists like Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ty Dolla $ign, Ski Mask The Slump God and more.
“Hip-hop has always driven culture forward, and Rolling Loud was built to reflect that energy on the ground,” said Matt Zingler, Co-Founder of Rolling Loud. “This film is a celebration of the community, creativity, and unpredictability that defines the festival experience. Seeing it come to life on the big screen with partners like Live Nation Studios, American High and Ketchup Entertainment is a full-circle moment for the brand.”
Rolling Loud will also star legendary actor Henry Winkler, Christian Convery, and "Dave" star Christine Ko. The film began production in 2024 at Rolling Loud Miami and also filmed some scenes at a studio in Atlanta. According to Deadline, the synopsis of the film "follows an overprotective father (Wilson) who makes a bold parenting decision when he sneaks his 13-year-old son into the world’s largest Hip Hop music festival, setting off a chaotic adventure with his reckless co-worker (Matt Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer as they navigate wild crowds, security, and their own family dynamics."
The massive hip-hop festival is set to invade Australia in March and return to the U.S. for its only show in Orlando. The show in Florida will be headlined by Don Toliver, Playboi Carti and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Tickets for both festivals are on sale now.
