Tony Yayo is opening up about what led up to his and Uncle Murda's recent confrontation with Ja Rule.
The G-Unit rapper told Vlad TV he and Murda got a heads-up from an unnamed source that 50 Cent's longtime foe would be on their flight from San Francisco to New York City. Yayo and Murda were determined to get back home and copped the only two seats left in first class.
"I was like 'Yo it would be crazy if he sit right here in front of us,'" Yayo said. "Lo and behold, boom, I see Ja. He see me. He's spooked. He come down the aisle. He's looking up because he's nervous."
"His seat is seat three, we're right behind him," he continued. "His first thing, when you nervous, he starts saying 'Yo wassup?' He walked by Murda but Murda was saying s**t like 'Don't f**king come near me with that bag.' Ja put his bag up. He just asked us if we were good again, Then I don't gonna lie, Murda got on his Brooklyn bulls**t and just was like 'Yo homie don't f**kin' talk to me.' And then that's how it initially started."
Yayo said that Ja and Murda continued to exchange words and thought they were about to fight. He tried to calm Murda down and told Ja Rule to sit down and relax. Ja claimed that it was Murda who was starting with him. That's when Yayo said "suck my d**k" and Ja reacted by throwing a pillow at him. The two rappers were about to gang up on Ja until a flight attendant got in the middle of it and shut it down.
Uncle Murda originally posted footage of Ja Rule getting unruly with him in the next row. In additional footage posted by TMZ, Ja looked even more upset and appeared to challenge them to a fight. The "New York" rapper was eventually escorted off the plane and booked a later flight. In a statement he posted to X, Ja Rule didn't deny what went down during the confrontation.
"I popped on these punks by myself on a plane lmao p*ssy ass n***as I threw the pillow at yayo head cuz you soft… 😂🤣 knocked ya hat all off s**t was hilarious," Ja Rule wrote on X after the argument. In a statement to TMZ, Ja continued, "These f**king clowns… I saw them when I got on I was laughing like look at these two clowns lol they look like they saw a ghost deer in the headlights they always talking s**t so I addressed them lol."
Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda gave a more detailed breakdown of what happened on the flight on their new podcast The Real Report. See what they had to say below.
