Rick Ross is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album with a black-tie orchestra tour.
On Wednesday, March 11, the Grammy-nominated rapper announced the "Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Black-Tie Experience." Rozay, along with the Renaissance Orchestra and the Sainted Trap Choir, will travel to 17 major cities across the U.S. to perform classics from his first album, Port of Miami, from "Hustlin'" to "Push It." The tour is described as a "once-in-a-lifetime experience that trades the standard arena setup for a high-society gala aesthetic." Fans are encouraged to attend in black-tie attire and compete for Best Dressed of the Night in their respective cities.
“Port of Miami was the foundation of an empire, the blueprint to the biggest boss,” Ross says about the upcoming tour. “Twenty years later, we aren't just celebrating an album; we are elevating the culture. Bringing this music to the stage with a full orchestra and choir in a black-tie setting is about cementing the legacy. It’s luxury, it’s historic, and it’s a milestone we are going to celebrate at the absolute highest level."
Ross will kick off the tour in Miami on May 29 and travel to other cities like Atlanta, New York City, Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago, and more. The tour will wrap up on August 29 in Charlotte, N.C. Fans can get their tickets on POM20.com. An exclusive pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, March 11, until Thursday, March 12. The general ticket sales will start this Friday, March 13.
