Fans are convinced that several songs that recently leaked online will appear on Drake's anticipated album, ICEMAN.
On Wednesday, March 11, a few songs appeared on social media that fans believe stem from Drizzy's forthcoming project. In one of the leaked tracks, Drake appears to name-drop his ex Serena Williams, and her sister Venus. In another line, he seemingly shades his foe Kendrick Lamar by mentioning his former labelmate, ScHoolboy Q.
"Serena, but I’m cool with Venus, I be hanging around those n****s like I’m Dua Lipa," Drake raps. "I might hit up f**king ScHoolboy and do a remix, cause you put your n****s on, but they making peanuts."
Fans think the songs could be on the project because the Discord admin who shared the tracks previously shared songs from Some Sexy Songs 4 U before that album dropped. The songs surfaced after the OVO Sound founder shared a post on Instagram to hype up his ninth studio album. Drizzy included a random set of photos, including a page from a coloring book that says "ICEMAN" and a book cover that says "Mom, I want to know your story." In addition, he posted a few images to his Instagram Story. One image is a dude in a ski mask who says, "This comeback is personal. It's an apology to myself."
"It’s better this way," Drake wrote in his caption.
Drake has been promoting his upcoming album for quite some time. While he's made several posts about the project and teased it during his tour last year, the 39-year-old artist has yet to share any music from the album. He also hasn't confirmed a release date for the project. A tracklist isn't available yet. However, Charlamagne Tha God claims he heard that Future will be on the album.
