Cardi B surprised fans in New Jersey by bringing out their hometown hero, Fetty Wap.

Big Bardi pulled up to the Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday night, March 28, during the latest stop on her "Little Miss Drama Tour." Midway through her performance, the New York native invited Fetty Wap on stage to perform his classic "Trap Queen." The crowd erupted once Paterson's own walked out to the 2015 hit. Cardi danced and jumped around as fans screamed the chorus with Fetty. After he finished, Cardi told the crowd to welcome him home the right way.

Fetty Wap was welcomed home with open arms right after he dropped his new album, Zavier. The 17-track album, which is named after Fetty's alter ego, contains rare collaborations with Wiz Khalifa, Honey Bxby, Divinity, Ymanie, Tink, Rob McCoy, and his longtime friend Monty. He also called on Paterson natives Albee Al, Harrd Luck, and Oskama Esteban to join him on tracks like "LYG" and "Real Ones." Fetty closed out the project with his new song with G Herbo, "I Remember / Dear Zavier."

Zavier is the first project Fetty has released since he came home earlier this year. The 34-year-old artist was released from a Minnesota prison in January after he served three years of his six-year sentence over drug charges. Fetty Wap will remain under supervised release for the next five years, but that's not stopping him from hitting the stage, especially in his hometown.
