French Montana and Max B are taking over the summer with another joint album and an all-new tour.
On Tuesday, March 31, the longtime duo announced its second collaborative project, Wave Gods 2: Cosmos Brothers, will arrive in April. Both Harlem rappers shared the cover art for the sequel to French Montana’s 2016 mixtape and dropped the pre-save link. The following day, French and Max shared the dates for their first-ever joint tour. The "Wave God: Narcos Tour" will kick off in Albany, N.Y., on May 24 and continue to other major cities, including Atlanta, Miami, Washington, D.C., and more.
The tour comes in support of the duo's latest joint project Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos via Coke Boy Records. The 22-track mixtape picks up where French and Max left off before the Wave God was arrested and sent to prison 16 years ago. The project is led by the duo's first single "Make America Wavy Again," plus other bangers like "Whippin That Wave," and "Ever Since U Left Me," which contains a familiar sample of KC & The Sunshine Band's “That’s the Way (I Like It).” The mixtape also features a posthumous collaboration with their late friend Chinx and production from Metro Boomin, Harry Fraud, Dame Grease, Murda Beatz, DJ Clue, Johnny Goldstein of J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and others.
