Lil Tjay has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that left Offset injured.

According to records from the Broward County jail, the New York native was apprehended from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Monday night, April 6, after he was allegedly involved in a fight that unfolded before the shooting. Police hit him with a disorderly conduct-affray charge and a bond of $500. After he was released from jail, Tjay called Offset a "rat" and denied fighting him.

"The last thing I seen was Offset looking at me like this, 'Yo that n**** shot me!'" he said. "N***a is a rat."

"I didn't do no damn fighting," he continued. When asked if Offset hit him, Tjay replied, "I'll smack the s**t out Offset. He would never play like that with me in his life."

Police reportedly apprehended Tjay and another man from the valet area of the Hard Rock, but he has not been charged in connection with the shooting. Offset was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital to receive medical treatment. His reps say the former Migos rapper is "fine" and recovering.

Offset and Lil Tjay have been engaged in an ongoing beef for well over a year. Last January, Lil Tjay went viral after he claimed Offset is broke, has a gambling addiction, and allegedly begged people to Cash App him money while in a casino. He also claimed Offset owed him $10,000 and has yet to pay it back. Following the shooting, Lil Tjay's lawyer, Dawn Florio, issued a statement denying her client's alleged involvement.

"Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting," she continued. "We encourage people to consult trusted news sources, and to verify the accuracy of any reporting, before reflexively sharing or repeating baseless rumors."
