French Montana and Rick Ross are getting ready to hit the stage for the latest 'Verzuz' battle.

On Wednesday, April 29, Complex announced that the "Pop That" rappers will face off in Swizz Beatz and Timbaland's song-for-song battle. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, in Los Angeles and will be livestreamed on Apple Music. Both artists will pin New York against Miami in this celebration of the biggest party bangers of the 2000s. Expect to hear smash hits from the dynamic duo, including Rick Ross' "Hustlin'" and French Montana's "Ain't Worried 'Bout Nothin" as well as collaborations like their latest single "Minks In Miami."

French Montana and Rick Ross essentially ascended to superstardom together since they first flooded the streets with their music in the mid-2000s. While Rozay was rising through the ranks in Miami, Montana was revolutionizing mixtape culture with his Cocaine City DVD series. The Bronx resident first collaborated with Ross on his debut mixtape, French Revolution Vol. 1. Their bond strengthened in 2013 when the Maybach Music boss served as an executive producer on French's debut studio album, Excuse My French. He also appeared on songs like "Pop That" with Drake and Lil Wayne and "Trap House" featuring Birdman.

In the past few months, French and Rozay have been busy pushing their respective tours and forthcoming projects. Ross just announced his "Port Of Miami 20th Anniversary Black Tie Experience," where he'll perform songs from his debut album with a live orchestra. The tour will begin next month ahead of his forthcoming album, Set In Stone. Meanwhile, French Montana and Max B are still pushing their recent joint album, Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos. They're also preparing to hit the road for their "Wave Gods Narcos Tour."

Tune in to French Montana vs. Rick Ross on May 7.
