Pierre "P" Thomas has been hospitalized after he experienced a medical emergency in Las Vegas.

According to a report TMZ published on Friday, August 21, the Quality Control co-founder was admitted to a hospital in Sin City after he suffered a heart attack. The details behind what led up to the incident are scarce, but he is recovering in the ICU and is surrounded by his family. He's currently working with his doctors on how to move forward. Once the news broke, some blogs reported that the iconic music executive had passed away. His label has officially refuted the claims in a statement.

"We want to clarify that Pierre 'P' Thomas is alive and currently hospitalized, receiving medical care," the statement reads. "We ask that everyone keep P and his family in their thoughts and prayers and respectfully give them the privacy and space they need during this time. We deeply appreciate everyone's concern, support, prayers, and loving energy right now."

P is the force behind some of hip-hop's biggest names, including Quavo, Lil Baby, JT, Yung Miami, and so many more. He launched Quality Control Music with Kevin "Coach K" Lee in 2013 and came out swinging with huge records like Migos' "Versace." Over the years, the label enlisted other prominent artists like Lil Yachty and producers like OG Parker. They've also released compilations and mixtapes like Control The Streets, Volume 1.
