So we absolutely loved the Grammys last night. Everything from the James Corden’s clumsy/whimsical intro to the Bruno Mars Prince Tribute to the Queen Beyonce absolutely stunning and very pregnant performance.
The very first thing we must address is Adele’s iconic George Michael Tribute. We all were at a gasp when she stopped the music and started all over again because she didn’t feel she was doing it justice. Although, the rest of the world didn’t catch it, she did. We salute artistry from great artists and she drew tears from the heaven with her very emotional tribute and capitalized it all with winning Album of the Year over Beyonce… but that wasn’t it! She broke it in HALF, and gave the other half to Beyonce…
"I can't possibly accept this award," she said during her acceptance speech. "The Lemonade album was just so monumental, Beyoncé. It was so monumental and well thought-out and beautiful and soul-bearing... we appreciate that. All of us artists here adore you. You are our light."
Lord have mercy Adele! You won life last night, you get the award for life. Check out her stunning performance below.
