This week, Tiffany Haddish stopped by the 'Smartless' podcast, during the interview she said she would want her boyfriend, Common, to propose with an apartment building and not a traditional engagement ring. She went on to say, "Come at me with a deed, baby, don't come at me with a ring. Because if you're trying to buy my life and change my last name to your last name, a ring ain't gonna do it. We can get the ring after you can get the building."
She even said that Common called her 'crazy' for the building request. However, Haddish doesn't think she's crazy at all. "I said, 'No, I'm not crazy. I'm smart, because a marriage is a union of two businesses and the whole point of coming together is to grow yourselves, but also grow a family and make sure they have something to inherit."
Well when Shirley Strawberry brought this relationship subject up to the guys this morning, you know they had their own thoughts. Check out what they had to say in the video.
Do you believe that marriage is a business? Would you be okay with purchasing or receiving an apartment building instead of a traditional engagement ring?
