Nephew Tommy Praises The New Color Purple Cast!

The Color of Purple remake cast has been announced. First, it was so cool that Oprah Winfrey popped in a Zoom call to surprise 'Orange Is New Black' actress Danielle Brooks with the announcement that she will play the role of Sophia. Danielle said she was so happy and her heart is so full. Ok Nephew, here is the rest of the cast: our girl, Fantasia will star as Celie, Taraji P Henson will play Shug Avery, Coleman Domingo from Candyman will play Mister and Corey Hawkins who played Dr. Dre in Straight Out Of Compton will play Harpo and singer H.E.R will play Squeaky and Halle Baliey- twin sister from Chloe and Hallie will play Nettie.
