Uncle Steve Responds To Mo'Nique's Rant: "I Could Care Less"

Friday night, D.L. Hughley and Mo'Nique were booked for The Comedy Explosion at the Fox Theater in Detroit. During the show, fans were blown away after Mo'Nique delivered a profanity-filled rant onstage mentioning Hughley by name. She was angry over a contract dispute after she thought she was supposed to headline the show. Fed up with the disagreement, she took to the stage to let the crowd know her true feelings in a ten-minute long rant (caught on video) ridiculing D.L. Hughley and then questioning his sexuality… Then she added that she’s never let Hollywood bully her and Oprah and Tyler (Perry) kept telling her to let go and let God… that’s when she called out Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, DL, and Uncle Steve.

DL Hughley took to Instagram to hit back at Monique… “All you have to do is check the order of names on the ticket stub from last night and you’ll see who’s confused,” he began. “Against my better judgment, over the objections of my team and 4 other occasions where I said NO, I decided to take a chance and work with Monique.” He then questions if Mo’Nique herself is “the problem” at the center of her many public disputes. “Oprah was the problem, Tyler Perry was the problem, Charlamagne was the problem, Steve Harvey was the problem, Lee Daniels was the problem, Netflix was the problem… Now it’s MY turn. At some point it can’t be everyone else, IT’S YOU!! Lesson learned.”

Uncle Steve simply said, "Let me just open by saying, I could care less than a (bleep) about what you think about me. Because clearly I'm not your problem."
