Uncle Steve and The Crew Discuss Election Results

Yesterday was Election Day… the control of Congress is still at stake. All 435 seats in the House and 35 of 100 seats in the Senate were on the ballot, as of right now, the control of each is still hanging in balance There were also gubernatorial elections in battleground states like Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Unlike the Presidential Election, the Midterm Elections are all about the popular vote, that is why it was so important for you all to vote in yesterday’s election. Let’s break it down of what we know so far:

Pennsylvania showed up and showed out- First in the Senate Race congratulations to John Fetterman the new Governor….we needed that Senate seat- Fetterman beat Dr. Oz… and also congrats to Pennsylvania Governor John Shapiro he defeated the Republican Doug Mastriano…

New York elected it’s first female governor Democrat Kathy Hochul (Ho-kul) – if you recall Hochul (Ho-kul) has been governor since August 2021, with the resignation of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo..she was LT. Governor back then…

We lost the Democratic Senate seat in Ohio… Republican Vance won

In North Carolina- Republican Ted Budd won against the sister Democrat Sheri Beasley

In Florida – Republican DeSantis has been re-elected the governor and Republican Marc Rubio defeated Democratic Val Demmings in the Senate Race

In Georgia-our home state- Republican Brian Kemp defeated our candidate of choice Stacey Abrams - Gov. Kemp said, “Stacey Abrams Won't ‘Be Our Governor or Your Next President'

As of right now, in the Senate Race between Raphael Warnock and Hershel Walker neither candidate has 50 % so it looks like there will be a runoff between Warnock and Walker on December 6th.

The Nevada Senate Race is tight, but the state has until Friday to count the mail-in ballots

In Texas- Greg Abbott won again for his third term against Beto O’Rourke

In Wisconsin Senate Race is still to close to call – but Democrat Tony Evers has won Wisconsin’s Governor Race

In Michigan, we kept the Democratic Senate seat- and congratulations to Gretchen Whitmer she has been re-elected as the governor of Michigan

The mayoral race in Los Angeles is still undecided- Karen Bass vs. Rick Carsuso… They’re still counting and have 7 days to count mail in ballots
