The Strawberry Letter: I Need To Move Out He Won’t Let Me

Dear Steve and Shirley,

I'm 37 years old, and my sister is 45. I'm staying with her and her live-in boyfriend of seven years. I've been having sex with her boyfriend, and it started after I was here only a week. For years, the sexual tension has been strong between me and her boyfriend, but I was married at the time.

A few years ago, she mentioned it, but she wasn't mad. I wondered if it was on her mind when I moved in with them, but it's like she doesn't care at all. She confided in me that she has a new man, and she's trying to figure out if he's a sure thing or not before she breaks up with her boyfriend. She said that I need to help keep her boyfriend's mind off her when she sneaks away. I have been doing exactly what she asked me to do. I don't think she cares, but I know she would flip out if she knew all of the things he's done to me in her guest bedroom. Her boyfriend is gentle, and he guides me through the experience with soft whispers and kisses. I am about to lose my mind because it's that good, but what we're doing is so bad.

Before I get into deep, I told my sister's boyfriend that it's time for me to move out. He almost cried and said I can't go. I waited two weeks and told him again that I was moving out, and I gave him a date. He told my sister, and she begged me to stay. Either my sister is aware of what's going on and she doesn't care, or she's planning to attack me in my sleep. He doesn't want me to move out, so should I keep this arrangement for a little while longer?
