Entertainment News: Martin Lawrence's Health Update and Mike Tyson's Fight

This Friday, "Bad Boys Ride or Die," starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, hits theaters. It's been over two years since Will's infamous onstage incident at the Academy Awards on March 27, 2022, where he slapped Chris Rock in front of millions. Despite winning Best Actor that night, Will apologized, and Chris Rock chose not to press charges. A source in the industry shared that Smith "has had plenty of time to reflect on his life and is doing well now." They added, "Things are really great between Will and Jada," and Will feels it's time to move forward.

Now, moving on to Martin Lawrence: he wants fans to stop spreading rumors about his health. During a press event for "Bad Boys Ride or Die" at Hot 97 in NYC, Martin said, "I’m fine. I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed. You know I’m glad to be waking up every day and everything. No need for people to be concerned. I’m healthy as hell. Stop the rumors!"

In other entertainment news, former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, 57, and 27-year-old boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul were scheduled to fight on July 20th in Dallas. However, the fight has been postponed due to Tyson’s recent ulcer flare-up. Tyson will need to pause training, and the match will be rescheduled for later in the year. Tyson expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying, "I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flare-up, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover. My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s, and I will be back to my full training schedule soon." Allegedly, Roy Jones Jr., 55, is now interested in fighting Jake Paul.
