Two-time Emmy and three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald, interviewed Dr. Tiffany Bussey. She is the Director of the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center. They assist in the development of minority entrepreneurship through scholarly research, training, and consulting services.
Goodwill launched a new program to grow the electric vehicle workforce. Workers will go through a four-week program and start making $30 per hour. Atlanta is one of four accelerator locations nationwide. Participants learn to install and maintain EV chargers, heat pumps, and solar panels.
The Clean Tech Infrastructure Academy at Goodwill, is a 4-week training program, where students will attend 40 hours a week and get paid $15 an hour to learn how to be maintenance techs for electric vehicle supply equipment, which is basically the charging stations for electric vehicles.
