New Details Revealed About Jury Selection in Diddy Trial

New details about the jury selection process for the upcoming Diddy trial are emerging. A new version of the juror questionnaire has been shared, showing a deeper look into the types of questions being asked.

An earlier draft included questions about which documentaries about Diddy potential jurors had seen. While those specific questions have been removed, the current version still asks about TV viewing habits. Potential jurors are asked if they watch shows like Law and Order, CSI, or other police dramas.

The questionnaire also asks about people's opinions of wealthy individuals and whether they have any feelings about the hip-hop and rap music industry or its artists. These questions will help attorneys find jurors who can remain fair and unbiased during the trial.

Jury selection is scheduled to start on May 5th. Opening arguments are expected to begin a week later. In a major development, a judge has ruled that hotel security footage from 2016 showing Diddy assaulting singer Cassie will be allowed as evidence and shown to the jury.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to five felony charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. If convicted, he faces the possibility of spending his life in prison.
