Cassie Dismissed From Former Escort's Civil Lawsuit

A federal judge has dismissed several major civil claims against singer Cassie in a lawsuit brought by a former escort who alleged he participated in sex acts involving Cassie and Sean "Diddy" Combs.

According to court documents, U.S. District Judge Anne Hwang dismissed the racketeering, sex trafficking, and human trafficking claims against Cassie that were filed by Clayton Howard.

Howard alleged that he was paid by Cassie and Sean "Diddy" Combs to engage in sexual encounters over an eight-year period beginning in 2009. He claimed the experiences caused him psychological trauma and that he was used to satisfy the couple's sexual interests.

The court dismissed the claims against Cassie with prejudice, meaning Howard cannot refile those same claims against her. The allegations were not proven in court.

According to reports, the 39-year-old singer is now living overseas and does not plan to return to live in the United States.

The ruling applies only to the claims against Cassie. Other legal matters involving Sean "Diddy" Combs remain separate.
