Christine Wonsley says her family’s search for answers about the death of her 18-year-old son, Nolan Wells, is far from over.
Wonsley recently responded to online criticism and harassment surrounding the family’s demands for a fair investigation. In a social media post, she said she and Nolan’s father are not asking authorities for special treatment. They simply want the circumstances surrounding their son’s death to be investigated fairly, honestly and transparently.
“We just want the TRUTH! His father and I WILL NOT STOP SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH!” Wonsley wrote.
Meanwhile, an online fundraiser benefiting Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo and Morgan Seymour, who are identified by organizers as Nolan’s friends, has raised more than $140,000. The fundraiser says the money will be used to defend them against possible wrongful-death litigation and to pursue potential defamation claims related to accusations made online.
The fundraiser organizers maintain that the three have been falsely accused and subjected to threats and harassment. The allegations and speculation surrounding Nolan’s death have not been proven in court, and no criminal charges have been announced against the three individuals.
As the investigation continues, Nolan’s parents remain committed to finding out exactly what happened to their son.
