Everybody has a dating dealbreaker, but some of the ones men are discussing online might surprise you.
In a recent online conversation, men shared some of the things that can instantly make them lose interest in a woman, and the responses ranged from serious to extremely specific.
One man said unattractive feet were an immediate dealbreaker and admitted he pays attention to a woman’s feet before deciding whether he wants to continue dating her.
Another frequently mentioned turnoff was baby talk. Some men said hearing a grown woman intentionally speak in a childlike voice is enough to kill the attraction.
Then there was grammar.
One man recalled meeting a woman he thought was extremely attractive, but said her language and communication skills became a problem during their first date. He claimed that repeatedly hearing phrases like “he don’t” and “they ain’t got no” bothered him so much that there was never a second date.
Of course, these comments represent individual preferences, not scientific rules about what all men want. And if the question were turned around, women would probably have a very long list of their own.
Dating can be funny like that. Something one person barely notices can be an instant “no” for somebody else.
