Jay-Z made sure tens of thousands of fans helped him celebrate Beyoncé during his recent concert in London.
While performing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Jay-Z paused his show and asked the sold-out crowd to join him in singing “Happy Birthday” to his wife, who was watching from a VIP area.
Beyoncé celebrated her 45th birthday on September 4, which also marked the 20th anniversary of her sophomore solo album, B’Day.
The album originally arrived in 2006 and gave fans some of Beyoncé’s biggest records, including “Déjà Vu,” “Irreplaceable,” “Ring the Alarm,” “Get Me Bodied” and “Upgrade U.”
To celebrate the milestone, Beyoncé also released an expanded 20th anniversary edition of B’Day featuring remastered music, bonus tracks and other surprises for fans.
Jay-Z’s London show was a celebration of his own legendary catalog as well. He performed hits spanning decades and welcomed several special guests throughout the night.
